BOYA M1 is an Omni Directional Lavalier Microphone developed for Smartphones, DSLRs, Camcorders, Audio Recorders, PCs, and other video applications. The Omni pickup design on the lavalier microphone provides full, 360-degree coverage. A 6-meter (20-inch) cable with a 3.5mm 4-pole gold socket can be used to connect straight to Smartphones and most cameras. The lavalier microphone is powered by an LR44 battery (included) and has a switch to turn off or on the battery. When utilizing the microphone with a smartphone, turn off the switch because the smartphone is the source of power. To use the camera, turn the switch on to activate the battery power. There’s also a 1/4″ adaptor, a foam windscreen, and a microphone clip included.

Using the microphone
- For Smartphone
- Switch off the microphone. Slide the ON/OFF up to OFF/Smartphone
- The power is shut down.
- For DSLR, Camcorders, Audio recorders, PC ect
- Switch on the microphone. Slide the ON/OFF up to ON
